It is a high level knowledge-sharing event. The Conference over the years is attended by around 300 delegates, from public sector, the voluntary and private sectors are also well represented as are the politicians and civil servants from the Scottish Parliament and The Scottish Government.

COSLA and the Improvement Service, as with previous years, worked together to design and deliver the Conference. This was an opportunity to discuss major political and policy issues, and this year's conference included masterclasses, workshops and presentations on key improvement and development issues.
The Conference was also a celebration of excellence within Local Government in the shape of our Annual Awards Ceremony which is now incorporated within the Annual Conference on the Thursday evening.
