A COSLA Spokesman said: "Education Scotland has clearly confirmed what we have been saying for some time that Curriculum for Excellence is being delivered successfully on time across the country as councils are whole heartedly behind it.
"It is local authorities, schools and teachers up and down Scotland that are putting the hard work and effort into the continued delivery of Curriculum for Excellence. This is the most important change in Scottish Education for many years so it is natural that those who value our education system and its proud history will be concerned that we get it right. I hope that this report will reassure everyone that we are getting it right as none of our schools have asked for a delay and any additional support that is required by some individual school departments will be provided.
"We need now to put our differences aside and renew our focus on the full delivery of Curriculum for Excellence on what will be a crucial year for Scottish education."
