COSLA’s Children and Young People Spokesperson, Councillor Tony Buchanan commented on Friday 26th May on the publication of the Hearings for Children: The Redesign report from the Hearings System Working Group.

Councillor Buchanan said:

"The publication of the Hearings for Children report is an important milestone following the Hearing Systems Working Group redesign project.

It has been informed and designed with young people at the centre and includes truly transformative recommendations.

COSLA, with our local government colleagues, will take the time and care required to fully consider the report and recommendations and we will respond in full in due course."
