On Tuesday 20^th August, the Vice-President took part in a panel session at the Festival of Politics hosted at the Scottish Parliament on "What is Local Government for?”.

The session was run In partnership with COSLA and was an excellent opportunity to discuss the challenges facing local government and innovative ways to help enhance the role of local democracy in Scotland.
