FORMER COSLA CHIEF EXECUTIVE AWARDED OBE IN NEW YEAR HONOURS

Commenting on the award of an OBE to COSLA’s former Chief Executive Sally Loudon, COSLA President Councillor Shona Morrison said:

“On behalf of all of us at COSLA, I extend my warmest congratulations to our former Chief Executive, Sally Loudon, who was awarded an OBE in the New Years Honours List. We are all delighted for her.

“Knowing Sally, she will say that this is an award for everyone, but the reality is that it is deserved recognition of her outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication, and significant contribution to both COSLA and Scottish Local Government over a distinguished career.

“It is a well warranted award and a fitting tribute to her years of hard work and serves as a reflection of the positive impact she made on behalf of Local Government for our Communities throughout Scotland.”
